Level 2 · About 3 hours

Curious Explorer

You will be able to get a useful answer on the first or second try, most of the time.

The gap between a disappointing answer and an excellent one is almost always in how the question was asked. This level is about that gap.

What this level covers

  1. Asking a better question

Say who you are, what you want, and how long it should be. “Write a short, friendly note to my neighbour about the fence” beats “write a note.”

  2. When the answer misses

You do not start over. You say what was wrong and ask again — it remembers the conversation.

  3. Reminders and looking things up

Putting AI to work on the small daily things: appointments, medication times, the word on the tip of your tongue.

  4. Speaking instead of typing

Setting up Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri, and the handful of phrases worth memorising.

  5. Privacy, plainly

What these companies keep, what they do with it, and the three settings worth changing today.

Try it yourself

Three short exercises. There is nothing to submit and nobody is marking them.

  • Ask a vague question, then ask the same thing with details added. Compare the two answers side by side.
  • Set a recurring medication reminder by voice.
  • Ask an assistant to explain a letter you received — a bill, an insurance notice — in plain words.
