There is no such thing as a question that is too basic. If something here did not make sense, that is our fault and we would like to fix it.

Talk to a person

Email us Write in as much or as little detail as you like. A person reads every message, not an AI, and you will usually hear back within two working days. [email protected]

Live chat Not yet We would rather have no chat window than one staffed by a bot pretending to be a person. When we can staff it properly with real people, it will appear here.

Phone support Not yet Same reasoning. A number that rings out unanswered is worse than no number at all. Email reaches us reliably today.

The person behind this

John Ulett writes and teaches all of this. He is the one who answers the email, wrote every handout and slide deck on the site, and stands at the front of the room in libraries and senior centers around Nashville.

He is also the human in the demonstration videos on each stop. When Barnaby says “let my human assistant John show you,” that is a real person doing the same thing you are about to do, on his own screen, with the fumbles left in.

None of this is a company. There is nothing to buy, no email list to join, and no one selling your details onward. If something on this site is wrong or unclear, write to him and he will fix it.

In-person classes in Nashville

These sessions are taught in person around Nashville, Tennessee: the intro class, and the Future Tech Series talks on cyber safety, surveillance, data centers, AI and jobs, and AI in cars. Every one of them has a free handout and slide deck on this site, whether you come to a session or not.

If you run a library, senior center, church group or retirement community in the Nashville area and would like a session, get in touch. We will also send the editable materials to anyone who wants to teach it themselves.
